How do I qualify?
All grants are based on household size and household income. Everyone residing in the property that is 18 years and older must provide proof of income.
What type of repairs can be done?
The only repairs we will entertain are the following:
- Roof
- Gutters
- Windows
- Entrance Doors
- Furnace
- Water Heater
- Electric Panel
- Storm Door
- Basement Black Windows
- Driveway
How long do repairs generally take?
Once contractors receive the notice to proceed they can take anywhere from 4-6 weeks.
What do I need to provide for the application process?
- Current pay stubs
- Social Security letter
- Dividends
- Proof of Rental Payments (cancelled checks/receipts)
- Last 3 months of bank statements
- Past 2 Years Tax Returns - Please visit 255 East Ave to pick up a FREE copy even if you don't file taxes
- Deed
- City Tax Bill (Must be up to date)
- County Tax Bill (Must be up to date)
- Mortgage Statement or No Mortgage Statement (Must be up to date)
- Homeowner's Insurance Declarations Page
- Copy of your ID
- RGE/Water bill
Do I need to pay anything?
As long as you remain living in the property and the owner for 10 years, you will not need to pay anything back
